The LOA is not based on scientific method and the erroneous conclusions in metaphysics are based on incorrect scientific assumptions. These assumptions may have seemed reasonable in the 1800s that there was no air around us, only ether and that thoughts only transmit through ether. Perhaps this assumption is correct, however we are not surrounded by ether.

Think of it as a radio signal. As you scan through the radio, in-between stations fight for a signal. Most people are pretty familiar with this experience. The two stations compete and occasionally you’ll hear one song and then parts of a different song start to edge in. You’ll notice that neither station comes in perfectly crisp and clear. In the same manner, when you experience doubt or fear, those thoughts and feelings interrupt and compete with your desires.

It is my belief that we both send and receive thoughts. We do of course develop and create through the use of our logical, reasoning brain, but then what about those times when a thought pops into your head from nowhere? You are just sitting there minding your own business when BAM! You suddenly feel down, or the opposite, ecstatic! Those are probably rogue thoughts that strayed into your mind, but i'm just speculating still. I believe if you want something, you don't just think it into existence, oh it isn't that easy! You attract the circumstances and people that will make it possible for you to attain what you are desiring, and then you take action. So, in essence you are in a way, manifesting desires through thought because without the thought, the attraction process wouldn't take place in the first place.
Next let’s go back to the mindfulness meditation we did last month. Focus your attention on the sensation of the breath as it comes in and comes out of your nostrils. What do you feel? What do you notice? Breath in and out of your nostrils normally but focus your mind, with alertness on all of the sensations you feel as the breath comes in and out of the nostrils. This should take around five minutes.
Unfortunately, this author has an extremely superficial understanding of the LOA. While he may claim to have read all of the books, he clearly didn't understand them. He really isn't to blame as unfortunately many of the books written on the LOA are written by people that do not fully understand it themselves. The statement that positive thoughts always bring positive things is a faulty premise that is not at the basis of the LOA.
For 40 days, I started and ended my day with a meditation using May Cause Miracles by Gabby Bernstein, I set hourly pop up reminders on my phone to refocus on what I was trying to manifest. Started a daily journal to get all the blocks and dreams out of my head and into the Universe. And guess what?? It worked! That year, I made just as much as a life coach as I did in my 9-5, and only worked a third of the amount of time! That was 2014, it’s now 2017, and each year, my business has been more and more profitable, and I’ve gotten clearer and clearer on my vision.

Below are my five key principles for genuine manifesting. When practicing these steps, make sure to stay committed to the goal of feeling good first and attracting stuff second. Continue to remind yourself that when you feel good you energetically attract goodness into your life. When your primary function is to be happy, then whatever comes to you is irrelevant. Happiness is your true manifestation.

Bring your awareness to what you would like to manifest or call into your life at this time. Visualize it in the most bright, colorful, exciting, and joy-filled way—as if it’s already happened—and notice how happy you are, see who else is present there with you, take in any important sounds, feel the positive emotions running through you, and steep yourself in gratitude for all the gifts this life has bestowed upon you.
Before you begin the manifestation process you must take the necessary time to release all your disbelief in your power to be happy. One of the best ways to clear the blocks of disbelief is to pray for release. Begin a daily prayer practice of asking the Universe to set you free from all the limiting beliefs that block you from believing in your greatness. Stay open for signs from the Universe and show up for the assignments that are brought to you. Universal assignments come in many forms. 1. The scatter effect. When you tell other people about your goals and ideals, your focus is drained. By telling others, you instill a false sense of accomplishment in yourself, as if it were already done. It sucks you dry of motivation essentially. Then you don't act on it because you no longer feel motivated to. You spent your focus at the wrong time. It's better to keep it to yourself, and channel the focus within you each day.
Gratitude. Feel the gratitude of what it feels like when your dreams come to fruition. Your feelings are what is fueling the manifestation process. What does it feel like when you are living your dreams? Spend time visualizing what it is like to live your dreams and feel that gratitude, joy, love, bliss and all the other good stuff. Let this energy rocket you closer to your manifestations.

It is evident that you are feeling defensive enough about this subject to make such immature comments, very telling indeed.
Coming from the Latin manifestus "caught in the act," manifest can be used as an adjective or a noun as well as a verb. As an adjective, manifest is a formal way to say that something is apparent to the senses and is synonymous with evident, apparent, or clear. If you have strong feelings about something, they will be manifest on your face. A ship or plane's manifest is the list of cargo or passengers on a particular trip.
