I recently manifested a desire this way. I felt like sharing a bottle of whiskey, whiskey I didn't pay for, with a friend and followed the above directions. The very next evening, a friend called and invited me out for a drink. My budget was very limited so I wasn't planning on staying long. My friend, out of the blue, orders a bottle of whiskey and pays for the entire thing, mixers and all!! I got exactly what I asked for. A shared bottle of whiskey.
There are many instances that we want something really bad, and we get it without even uttering a word. The universe responds to our thoughts as well as our requests. One may say God is answering prayers but our thought may be even more magnetic than our words, as we often don't speak what we really mean. The inner thought is the most truthful one can be.

You will face obstacles on the path. It happens. You don't get to choose which obstacles you face or when, but you do get to choose how to respond. Forgive yourself if your first decision didn't get you where you wanted to go. Remind yourself that you made the best decision you could at that point in time, and then use your experience to make a better decision the next time.

I’m answering a question I get asked IRL a lot: How to manifest anything you desire in life? Yup, you read that right, manifest anything in your life! Sound to good to be true? Well it isn’t! I’ve lived the seven steps I am going to share with you today and they really have allowed me to manifest anything I desire in life! I promise that if you practice them and make them a part of your lifestyle, you will see the same results! But you really have to work them!
Some people begin to see things happen immediately, while others take a little more time. The key here is patience and persistence. As soon as doubt or fear start to creep back in, return to Step 2 and address it. If you have lost touch with your clear intention, revert to Step 1. If your belief in the Law of Attraction lags, go back to Step 3. If all else fails, repeat Step 4 every day until it becomes a reality!
For 40 days, I started and ended my day with a meditation using May Cause Miracles by Gabby Bernstein, I set hourly pop up reminders on my phone to refocus on what I was trying to manifest. Started a daily journal to get all the blocks and dreams out of my head and into the Universe. And guess what?? It worked! That year, I made just as much as a life coach as I did in my 9-5, and only worked a third of the amount of time! The secret of manifestation is that you do not create reality by what you think but by what you feel. Everything is vibration and you attract those things that you are in vibrational resonance with. Your vibration is your feeling. It is your feelings that attract your experiences. The more you experience the feeling of having what you want, the more you will have it. Accepting your greatness in this moment, right now, is what manifests more greatness. Being in the know helps you accept that you already are living in your desired manifestation. When you feel it, you live it—regardless of what is happening on the outside. In time, the Universe catches up with your energy and your desires come into form. This process of allowing the manifestation to follow your internal faith is the true process of co-creation.
It's helpful to actually write a few paragraphs about yourself. Frame this as a sort of freewriting exercise. Don't try to edit or micromanage your writing. Give an earnest portrayal of where you're at, including the status of your work, school, hobbies and personal life. Don't be afraid to be extremely personal with it-- no one ever needs to read it but you.
Thank you for your comments. Hard to be positive when talking about the LOA. It's focus on blaming is pervasive. I am a positive psychologist and have proposed a new way of looking at attraction called the Principle of Attraction. As a Principle, like tends to attract like. Positive thoughts, feelings, actions, and words often attracts positivity...but not always. It's not a law, it's a principle, based on positive and social psychology.
The fact that we build evidence to support our beliefs is not evidence that a law of attraction exists. Why do innocent babies attract negativity that causes them to be in the ICU with fatal illnesses? Why do happy children get hit by cars or murdered by terrorists? Why do people who cheat and lie and abuse others, sometimes prosper and become leaders in society? If we are using anecdotal evidence to support claims, I will have plenty of examples.

This requires creating boundaries, being specific, defining structure and form.” Those who have the sky as the limit, with heads in the clouds, are most likely full of ideas but too un-grounded to realize their dreams. Imagine what your life would be like if your mind could always be focused on thoughts that were filled with joy, peace, love, abundance and feeling successful! Think of yourself as a consciousness being played out by God just as a wave is part of the ocean that is being played out by the ocean. This theory of nature will promote the kind of trust that you need to attract to yourself all that belongs to you in the universe. You cannot receive it or even come close to manifesting it if you have an absence of trust in yourself as an extension of God.
Get enough sleep. If you really want to manifest your desires, you need to be the best version of yourself first. One thing that most people tend to fall short of is sleep. Sleep as part of a healthy life cannot be underestimated. While sleep is often the first thing that's cut into when big things are happening in our lives, you need to commit to a regular schedule that's going to keep you energized throughout the day.
1. The scatter effect. When you tell other people about your goals and ideals, your focus is drained. By telling others, you instill a false sense of accomplishment in yourself, as if it were already done. It sucks you dry of motivation essentially. Then you don't act on it because you no longer feel motivated to. You spent your focus at the wrong time. It's better to keep it to yourself, and channel the focus within you each day.
I don’t believe the Law of Attraction is complete nonsense. I just believe it’s one piece of a bigger puzzle. It’s like the diet part to the diet and exercise needed if you want to change your body. I do believe in energy. I do believe in the power of visualization, beliefs, and using you entire body as an instrument. This means feeling not just thinking. And I believe if you live in a certain state / or “vibration” good does happen. Yes, there is science behind this. But I believe it because I have experienced it in my own life.
Instead I have been able to approach life in a different way. Learning to be thankful for the things I keep om receiving everyday, such as: The love of my kids, my friends, the overall experience in my journey and of course I have been throught bad ones and good ones. But all of those experience are an invaluable treasure to me. So dont assume everyone wants to attract the things you mentioned before.
Outline methods to achieve your goals. Goals left by themselves are intangible. In order to make your dreams a reality, you will need a clear, and above all, realistic gameplan to reach them by. Everyone is used to having wild dreams, but a real achiever will keep the practical means in mind while thinking about his desires. At the visualization stage, it is enough to write a couple of sentences on how you're going to reach each of your goals.
Many people have limiting beliefs which keep them from allowing abundance and happiness into their lives. If this describes you, realize that you must first change your limiting beliefs into thoughts that you are deserving, worthy, lovable, desirable, and capable—as well as smart enough, strong enough, attractive enough, rich enough, good enough, and “enough” in every other way that matters to you.
Neil, I have never heard a so called "doctor" speak so unprofessionally. I'm sure you are aware of the certain psychology that enables some people to make certain remarks behind the safety of their computer? If not, you would do well to look it up. It is evident that you are feeling defensive enough about this subject to make such immature comments, very telling indeed.
Exercise regularly. Good exercise should go in tandem with healthy eating as part of a strong, balanced lifestyle. Even by going running for half an hour in the morning, your body will reward you with clearer thinking and greater energy throughout the day. A lot of the time people feel their 'ideal life' is beyond their reach, physical health and appearance plays a part in it. Giving your body the time and care it deserves will make you look closer to the person you want to be.
Math says that 1 + 2 = 2. If you talk with one person who loves math and another who hates math, they’ll each have a different perception of math. One person believes math is intriguing and fun, while the other may have a belief that math is terribly frustrating. So, how you perceive and interpret your reality will also have an effect on what you are attracting in your life.
When I was seventeen, an intuitive told me to pick up a book on manifestation, to read it and follow it to a T, and that I’d be able manifest everything I want. So I read the book and did what I was told. Nothing happened. I read The Secret and the Law of Attraction books that we’re all sort of peripherally familiar with…and still not much in that realm was helping me. A lot of it was: Think positive; your thoughts control your reality. Visualize.
I AGREE with you when you invite people not to be fooled but, not to be fooled by just believing the first guy who introduces himself as an expert when it is obviously just leading you to pay 299 for a magical LOA course so to go deeper in the study of it before dismissing totally a life changing knowledge. Yours are valuable tools to but there is no need to be general and discriminate 100% something that you have not fully experience yourself.

It’s difficult to imagine that thoughts and feelings can have an effect on the world around us. Fortunately, advances in technology and science allow us to visibly and immediately experience the effects of our thoughts. Just like watching an apple fall through the air, there are experiments that demonstrate the immediate effects of thoughts and feelings.
I had a clear vision of what happy looked like and since it wasn’t my reality, I didn’t allow myself to be happy. So I was angry, resentful, and jealous of all the people around me who were getting their dreams handed to them. And of course that flipped my magnet and the only thing I attracted was more negativity, sinking deeper and deeper in my own shit until I hit rock bottom.

Take five minutes each day to breath slowly and with each breath out, release all the negativity you've been dealing with. Many people take time to breath in but not breath out, says Graham. Often things we never could have imagined were possible come together in the most unpredictable way. Just because something does not appear likely from your current vantage point does not mean that it is not possible. Believe in the possibility that what you desire could be in your life. The stronger your belief the less resistance you create. By reducing the resistance it is easier for the energy of what you do desire to materialize in your life. If you do not believe it is possible for your dream to be a part of your reality, you are energetically putting up a brick wall of resistance blocking all possibility that you can manifest what you desire. Expect your dream to manifest. Know that it is happening. Know that the Universe is working in your favor, even when it does not appear to be from your perspective. Trust and believe what you desire is coming to you.
When my daughter was young (she's 30 now :-)), we shared this kind of communication. There was one incident in particular when she was in school getting in serious trouble and I was out on a walk nearby. I could feel that something was very wrong, but didn't know what until I got a call from the Vice Principal that afternoon asking me to come in for a conference. I believe I was feeling her fear at having gotten into trouble. I tend to pick up on feelings more than thoughts, but I think the same concept applies.
Let me introduce my first source, Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone (or not, according to some sources!) who was extremely knowledgeable when it came to vibrations - so much so that he figured out how to manifest desires, at least in theory! Now before I go on, let me give you some figures. The human range of hearing extends from 20-20,000 vibrations (hertz) per second, from there all the way up to one and a half million vibrations per second none of our 5 senses can detect vibration. However, once the vibrations reach one and a half million VBS we are able to detect heat with our sense of touch and finally, at 3 million vibrations per second it's possible for the naked eye to perceive heat as a violet light. Above 3 million, ultra violet rays are given off which are completely invisible to us, hence the many bad cases of sunburn!
It would be impossible to publish research in any respectable peer-reviewed psychology journal that was not up to this high standard with concomitant rigorous statistical analyses. These are the standards in psychology. When someone comes up with a new theory in psychology or any other science, for that theory to be of any use, it has to be able to make predictions and those predictions have to be verifiable. If there is no way to disprove a theory, it can explain everything that happens, yet it doesn't predict anything specific that can be tested, it is considered a poor theory.
