5. Your Desire Forms the Basis of Every Manifestation. Is there an outcome you long for and yet somehow never experience? By examining your desire in every dimension, you can discover what may be blocking the manifestation of your dreams. If your desire is in alignment with your essence, you need not be concerned with the “how to”—your desire will be manifested.
Signs That Your Desire Is Manifesting
The so-called secret put forth in the best selling book The Secret represents ancient wisdom found within Kabbalah, or Jewish mysticism. The Kabbalists didn’t call this the Law of Attraction, but they knew and used the same principle—focusing thought and feeling on what you desire—for manifestation. Here are two reasons why manifestation doesn’t always occur.
But the one who really first articulated the Law as general principle was Prentice Mulford. Mulford, a pivotal figure in the development of New Thought thinking, discusses the Law of Attraction at length in, for example, his essay "The Law of Success", published 1886-1887. In this, Mulford was followed by other New Thought authors, such as Henry Wood (starting with his God’s Image in Man, 1892), and Ralph Waldo Trine (starting with his first book, What All the World's A-Seeking, 1896). For these authors, the Law of Attraction is concerned not only about health but every aspect of life.
Since 2002, a program known as the Container Security Initiative requires our main trading partners to send to U.S. Customs and border Protection an electronic manifest for every U.S.-bound container twenty-four hours before it is loaded on a ship. — William Finnegan, New Yorker, 19 June 2006 Has any passenger manifest been more fretted over than the Mayflower's? — Jack Hitt, Harper's, July 2005 But for me, finding it still in "use" is high on the manifest of writerly thrills longed for—along with seeing someone you don't know hungrily reading your book on an overland bus in Turkey; or noticing your book on the shelf behind the moderator on Meet the Press next to The Wealth of Nations and Giants in the Earth; or seeing your book on a list of overlooked American masterpieces compiled by former insiders in the Kennedy administration. — Richard Ford, Independence Day, 1995
Don't let pursuing your desires get in the way of appreciating your life as it is. Your life has many things in it already that warrant respect and admiration. Keeping your sights purely focused on the future will blind you to the great things already in your life. Strike a firm balance between appreciating what you have, and striving for better things.
Skeptical Inquirer magazine criticized the lack of falsifiability and testability of these claims. Critics have asserted that the evidence provided is usually anecdotal and that, because of the self-selecting nature of the positive reports, as well as the subjective nature of any results, these reports are susceptible to confirmation bias and selection bias. Physicist Ali Alousi, for instance, criticized it as unmeasurable and questioned the likelihood that thoughts can affect anything outside the head.
I enjoyed a blast from the past in June when my 1998 public television special “How to Get What You Really, Really, Really, Really Want” appeared among the films and videos available to view during the 2014 Hay House World Summit. It was fun to see the family scenes included in the footage, when my kids were little and I had a bit more hair! Time has moved on since those days, but the timeless message of learning to align with your Highest Self and manifest what you most desire still speaks to us.
Why do happy, innocent children celebrating a birthday get murdered by terrorists? Who told you that manifestations and creation has to benevolent all the time. Understanding these from our lower perspective will never make sense at all. Just look above your perception level. The universe, for example: There is constant change and transformation in the process and it does involve creation and destruction on a balanced basis. Conciousness at a higher level just keep on manifesting whatever it focus its attention forth and it does it through everything that is at all times, nom stop. And all this manifestafion can be good or bad depending just on our human judgement.
"It may not be exactly as you imagine it – say you make $35,000 as a writer and you imagine making $100,000. You may get an offer in a different field that meets the money requirement or possibly a different style of writing than you might be used to or an assignment that you did not expect. Point is, you will get what you ask for, even if it is not exactly as you had imagined. Now if you have no job and no income and ask for a Maserati, you probably won’t get it. You might, however, meet a new friend who has one and get to drive it," Estes states clearly.

Isn't that enough to at least provoke a little more exploration in the area of the human mind? There really is more to our mind than we know, the proof is staring us in the face yet we fail to even open our eyes, let alone see it. If the combined power of human consciousness has a detectable effect on RNGs then this is more proof that manifesting desires can happen through concentrated thought.

I recently manifested a desire this way. I felt like sharing a bottle of whiskey, whiskey I didn't pay for, with a friend and followed the above directions. The very next evening, a friend called and invited me out for a drink. My budget was very limited so I wasn't planning on staying long. My friend, out of the blue, orders a bottle of whiskey and pays for the entire thing, mixers and all!! I got exactly what I asked for. A shared bottle of whiskey.
I used to do a lot of work helping people to stop smoking. There are only 2 reasons people don’t stop smoking. One, because they don’t want to (often this is subconscious) Two, because they don’t believe it’s possible. Or they assume it will be incredibly difficult and painful, and they can’t do it without suffering forever. (Again, this is often subconscious and it is a flawed assumption).
