It is easy to tell people that the law of attraction works; however, the LOA works if one firmly believes in receiving something specific. Now what if one can not convince oneself to deeply believe? It is all about consistency and frequency of vibration. Higher rate of vibration means higher speed of motion of energy. Manifestation is energy moving into form. Things take longer time to manifest on the physical plane because it exist at a lower rate of vibration. That is why consistency of faith is more important while existing on Earth. Our thoughts manifest as things instantaneously on the mental plane first before manifesting correspondingly on the physical plane over a period of time. If you could allow yourself to experience higher feelings consecutively for a certain period of time, your world will be bound to become a lot different than before in a much better way!

Just like you I have been reading and searching as much information related to this topic since I first heard of it years ago. I have fulfilled most if my goals and dreams. But guess what!! None of them are related to yachts, eating caviar, sipping champagne or waiting for a private jet to fly me to my private island. None of those are goals in my life and all of them except for the private island and the yet I have experienced and enjoyed without even having to be a tycoon.
Success rate of 0.1%? Where'd you get that statistic? But whatever the actual number, your question is an invalid one. The law of gravity works 100% of the time, except we can fly planes, right? Yes, I know that sounds silly, but it's really to show you how silly YOUR question is because "LoA" works even "negatively" (put in quotations because human perception is what labels things as positive or negative when really, the universe is 'neutral' and things don't happen as a way to punish us... that's just ridiculous, it's not personal).
The most important part of this step is to clarify how you want to feel. When you get clear on how you want to feel, you can begin to access that feeling. That feeling is what makes the manifestation come into form. You can write a thousand lists and make a million vision boards, but if you don’t clearly feel what you want to experience, it will never truly manifest into form.

Where your attention goes, energy follows. Therefore, the ability to focus on your vision is really more about energy management, rather than mental power. The key here is that you identify what are the people, places, activities or habits that are draining you of your energy. Similarly, you want to identify which nurture you and give you energy. Then, allocate time in your calendar to focus this energy to work on your vision, project or goal.
Once you commit, then the forces of the universe can align to co-create your desire. This could show up in the form of an article you read, a connection made through a friend, a book, an event you attend, money that is required to seed your dream, or inspiration that strikes. Any of these examples are evidence that you're on the path to creating your desire. Your decision is calling in the resources inside and outside of you that you need to achieve your desire.

What do you want? What are your goals, wishes, and dreams? Get really clear about what it is that you want to manifest in your life. Do this in your quiet space. The stronger your belief the less resistance you create. By reducing the resistance it is easier for the energy of what you do desire to materialize in your life. If you do not believe it is possible for your dream to be a part of your reality, you are energetically putting up a brick wall of resistance blocking all possibility that you can manifest what you desire. Expect your dream to manifest. Know that it is happening. Know that the Universe is working in your favor, even when it does not appear to be from your perspective. Trust and believe what you desire is coming to you.
The strongest and most powerful way to apply all of the previous steps is in this one: Act as if it is already true. Act like the person you want to be. Act as if you already have everything you want. Act as if everything you need has already been provided. This is how you finally accept your manifestation and allow yourself to receive it from the universe.
I kept hearing about this book. I expected it to be a new age, wish on a star book. But, it was a good read. It reminded me that, at least to some extent, we do create our own reality by the attitude we project. If we are a grump, we attract other grumps, not happy persons, to us. And so on. It is a quick read, a fun read, lots of white space, easy to understand and assimilate, no high psychology words, no mumbo jumbo. Good illustrations. Definitely written for the layman.
