The are three main states of vibration that you can resonate at. The lowest is the state of unhappiness. In this state you feel depressed, overwhelmed, bored, angry, heavy, helpless and so on. Your world is full of rain and darkness, and that is what you tend to create. The middle is the state of monotony. In this state, you operate on automatic pilot. You just do things because you should do them. You are like a robot that is following orders. The world appears to be pretty cloudy and boring. When you operate predominantly at this frequency, you tend to create more of the same old thing. The highest is the state of joy! At this frequency, you feel fully alive and on fire. You are excited about everything that comes your way, and you are in the flow. Your world is full of sunshine, and good cheer. You operate from inspiration, and desire. When you operate at this frequency, you naturally attract your heart s desires.
It's helpful to actually write a few paragraphs about yourself. Frame this as a sort of freewriting exercise. Don't try to edit or micromanage your writing. Give an earnest portrayal of where you're at, including the status of your work, school, hobbies and personal life. Don't be afraid to be extremely personal with it-- no one ever needs to read it but you.
Human beings are creatures of habit, and the well-worn paths that our lives follow are habits we have developed throughout our lifetimes. Habits don’t change overnight. Very few of us can just decide that we’re going to change something and then sustain a new behavior without looking back. It takes time and patience to change longstanding habits. And it takes practice. Many manifestation teachings don’t include specific practices to help embed the new habits of thought into the subconscious mind. As you move forward defining characteristics and attributes, define physical attributes and define the associated feelings. If you are shooting for happy, define happy. What is that for you? An incomplete description can leave multiple options for the materialization of your dream; some may be just what you asked for but not at all what you wanted. Be specific. The more time you spend here, the more comprehensive your definition of your dream, the more accurately your dream will materialize in a way that closely resembles what you desire.
This step is important because those competing signals can be quite strong. Weaken the signal or change the direction of those thoughts like this: Approach those feelings with the love and compassion that you would feel towards a lonely, small child or a hurt animal. When you love yourself, you open up the possibility to receive your greatest desires, and you begin to only desire the things that are best for you.
Most people find their lives completely out of order. It’s not that they don’t want better. It’s because they really don’t know what it is they truly want. They have not taken the time to find clarity in the vision for their lives. Instead of making each moment of their day intentional, they just go with the flow and hope for the best. These are the people who wind up regretting years of their lives because they finally realize that they could have had more.
Simply put, the Law of Attraction is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It is believed that regardless of age, nationality or religious belief, we are all susceptible to the laws which govern the Universe, including the Law of Attraction. It is the Law of Attraction which uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in our thoughts and materialize them into reality. In basic terms, all thoughts turn into things eventually. If you focus on negative doom and gloom you will remain under that cloud. If you focus on positive thoughts and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.
Quash negative thought projections when you notice them brewing. Negative thoughts often become cycles, and part of self-confidence means negating the thoughts that will make you feel otherwise. Even if you think the feelings themselves are rational, acknowledge that there is no point in thinking them in the first place. It's a difficult mental skill to master, but one that will mean a huge difference in your overall self-confidence when done correctly.[12]

1. START SAYING NO. This applies to anything that’s not a “hell yes” in your life. It is truly as simple as these seven words form the Bible advise. You want what follows I am to be congruent with your highest self, which is God. Beginning with your inner dialogue, simply change the words that define your concept of yourself.

Write your wish down. Start with "I am so happy and grateful now that..." and finish the sentence (or paragraph) telling the Universe what it is that you want. When my daughter was young (she's 30 now :-)), we shared this kind of communication. Why do happy, innocent children celebrating a birthday get murdered by terrorists? Who told you that manifestations and creation has to benevolent all the time. Understanding these from our lower perspective will never make sense at all. Just look above your perception level. The universe, for example: There is constant change and transformation in the process and it does involve creation and destruction on a balanced basis. Conciousness at a higher level just keep on manifesting whatever it focus its attention forth and it does it through everything that is at all times, nom stop. And all this manifestafion can be good or bad depending just on our human judgement.
Today I’d like to offer a powerful meditation. It’s from one of my favorite books, Into the Magic Shop. It’s written by James Doty, an acclaimed neuroscientist from Stanford University, and tells the story of a underprivileged boy from Orange County who, in a very unexpected way, learns to meditate. Specifically he’s taught how to manifest dreams he can barely believe are possible, financially and career-wise. But over time, in the book and this boy’s actual life, every goal he sets comes true.
The fact that we build evidence to support our beliefs is not evidence that a law of attraction exists. Why do innocent babies attract negativity that causes them to be in the ICU with fatal illnesses? Why do happy children get hit by cars or murdered by terrorists? Why do people who cheat and lie and abuse others, sometimes prosper and become leaders in society? If we are using anecdotal evidence to support claims, I will have plenty of examples.
The unknown, otherwise known as luck, serendipity, synchronicity, or coincidence, can’t come in unless you make space for it. If you’re one of those people who tend to fill up your calendar with activities and appointments way ahead, try leaving some free time and see what opens up. If you must pencil in something, schedule some “self-care” time – you are precious and deserve your own “catching up with yourself” time.
And NOT EVERYTHING is your fault. As a psychologist, you should know that we have 65000 thoughts a day and most of them are not conscious. In that case how are you supposed to know that you were thinking so subconsciously? (SUBCONSCIOUS thoughts matter too!). In fact, LoA users use their subconscious mind as a great asset. The truth about the law of attraction is actually simple.

"Simply focusing on finding Mr. or Ms. Right isn’t going to get you there, but it is definitely going to help your process if you use other techniques as well! Additionally, your emotions about your desires either attract them into your physical reality or prevent them from showing up. If you want a new car, for example, but you constantly feel angry, jealous and depressed every time you see someone else driving your dream car, you decrease your chances of manifesting a car. If, however, when you see someone driving that car you feel joyful at the thought of one parked in your garage, you begin manifesting that new car. So, work on feeling good and happy about what you want even before you have it. This means learning to act and feel “as if” you already manifested your heart’s desire.

As an adjective, manifest is a formal way to say that something is apparent to the senses and is synonymous with evident, apparent, or clear. If you have strong feelings about something, they will be manifest on your face. A ship or plane's manifest is the list of cargo or passengers on a particular trip.
I got a distressed call from a client some days back.
