Focus as often as you can on what you do want rather than on what you don't want. For example, if you are angry or upset about a war/conflict that has been going on, do your best to be 'pro-peace' rather than 'anti-war' - focus on the peace, and the kinds of solutions that you would like to see, instead of whatever it is that you do not like about the situation.
I kept hearing about this book. I expected it to be a new age, wish on a star book. But, it was a good read. It reminded me that, at least to some extent, we do create our own reality by the attitude we project. If we are a grump, we attract other grumps, not happy persons, to us. And so on. It is a quick read, a fun read, lots of white space, easy to understand and assimilate, no high psychology words, no mumbo jumbo. Good illustrations. Definitely written for the layman. I've also seen Losier's videos and they are more of the same.
Have a strong desire. Now we know where we’re going and we need something that energizes the vision. If you’re flying to Hawaii, you know that plane needs fuel to get there. The same works for your vision, you need the right fuel so you can manifest it. Have a vision that moves you and each time you think about it, you feel lighter and joyful. These are the emotions that will get you where you want to go. Dare to dream and think big, it will help you to literally energize your vision.
I enjoyed a blast from the past in June when my 1998 public television special “How to Get What You Really, Really, Really, Really Want” appeared among the films and videos available to view during the 2014 Hay House World Summit. It was fun to see the family scenes included in the footage, when my kids were little and I had a bit more hair! Time has moved on since those days, but the timeless message of learning to align with your Highest Self and manifest what you most desire still speaks to us.
Think of yourself as a consciousness being played out by God just as a wave is part of the ocean that is being played out by the ocean. This theory of nature will promote the kind of trust that you need to attract to yourself all that belongs to you in the universe. You cannot receive it or even come close to manifesting it if you have an absence of trust in yourself as an extension of God.
Human beings are creatures of habit, and the well-worn paths that our lives follow are habits we have developed throughout our lifetimes. Habits don’t change overnight. Very few of us can just decide that we’re going to change something and then sustain a new behavior without looking back. It takes time and patience to change longstanding habits. And it takes practice. Many manifestation teachings don’t include specific practices to help embed the new habits of thought into the subconscious mind. I help others create a personalized tool for transmitting their desires deep into their subconscious and out into the Universe, calibrating the vibrations to the perfect frequency for success.
When we hear words like manifestation, attraction and creation, we often associate them with getting. But the real power of the law of attraction is found when we shift our attention from getting to giving. Generosity, love and service are not afterthoughts — things you think you’ll have time, money and energy for once you get what you want. The energy of compassion is what drives a truly co-creative engagement with the Universe. My book teaches you a method of manifestation that integrates the element of giving from the very beginning.

Remember that there is a difference between sending out a hope that something you'd like to happen will happen and putting in the appropriate effort or planning to ensure that something actually will happen. If you don't believe that something will happen, perhaps you're not willing to plan and work for it. You need a balance of both hope (to inspire) and effort (to achieve) for an outcome to be realized.
Sometimes your subconscious thoughts and beliefs affect the outcome of your efforts to manifest your desires. If, for example, you want more money but you believe that money is the root of all evil, you’ll find it hard to manifesting more money. If you want a new job but think, “I don’t deserve a better job,'” you’ll have a difficult time getting hired. And if you look at a loving couple and think, “I still don’t have a loving relationship,” you’ll perpetuate the lack of a mate. You need to become aware of and change these negative thoughts and beliefs if you want to bring your dreams into reality.

The more you surrender, the higher you rise. When you trust that the Universe is always acting in your best interests for the greatest good of your soul then you feel protected, loved and supported. God/The Universe is everywhere and is always your safety net in times of need. Your role in the process? Go with the flow. When you do this you literally get out of your own way and allow your intentions to manifest.

Step 1: Define what you want. Often we think we know what we want, but we can only define it by what we do not want. In the process of defining all the things we do not desire we end up shifting our energy and attention to manifest that rather than what we want. Where we place our attention is where the energy of manifestation goes to work. Clearly working at manifesting our dreams this way will not be productive.
When you put aside your doubts, you can begin to imagine in both mind and body what it will feel like to have your Wishes Fulfilled. Think about what you plan to manifest — then use your imagination to feel what that feels like in your body. Does it feel natural to you? Does it really feel like this is the “you” that you are deciding to be? By staying only with what your senses tell you is your reality, you place a barrier to letting your imagination create all that you wish for. Your imagination is unlimited.
"You cannot request or manifest a relationship as we desire. There is a beautiful component of wishing, manifesting, etc. that people often forget: free will. One cannot make someone do what they want them to do. ... To manifest a new relationship, one needs to create a list that can easily be fulfilled. A client of mine once made a list of the qualities she wanted in a man, but she listed each request as, 'I want a man who... and a man who... and a man who...' She ended up becoming involved with three different men with each of the qualities requested, not one man with all three qualities. Manifesting can be tricky," Rappaport warns.
Look. Yes, you should have a vision of what you want your life to look like. I have a very clear vision. But it’s not hanging over my head. It’s in my pocket. Actually, it’s in my phone. And it changes as I change. They are a list of wants and goals but not needs. They do not define me or my worth. My vision acts as a compass. Do I want these things? Fuck yes I want these things. Will I not allow myself to be happy if I don’t obtain them? Nope. Been there, done that. Never again.
