The same way, you can attract nothing despite LoA actually attracting it for you.. Adding to this, there is still the force of gravity acting on the plane but the net resultant force is upwards. The same way, you think the law of attraction won't work for you but in fact it's the law of attraction giving you the stuff that is needed in order to change your mindset that it will not work for you and hence go to the default issue that many people have. Eat a balanced diet. If you are getting enough sleep but still somehow feel tired, it's near-certain that diet factors into the equation somehow.[7] Take a good look at the stuff you're eating. Are you giving your body due respect? Depending on your current diet, there may be some obvious things you should be doing without. Sticking to a whole foods-based diet is your best bet, but you should take some time to work out a diet plan that suits you. Strike a balance that sufficiently compromises between your desired food and responsible, healthy eating.[8]
It will signpost the way for you to achieve your goals in the best possible fashion. Your awareness will expand to include all the ways in which you can move towards your dreams. You'll be surfing the net and an ad will pop out at you, or you'll be walking down the street and be compelled to turn your head and hey presto - something that will lead you to your dream.
For example, imagine that you have a very vivid dream that you fly out your bedroom window and soar around your city. The sights, sounds, and storyline of the dream are the manifest content. A dream interpreter might suggest that your dream reveals a hidden desire to seek freedom from your day-to-day life. This symbolic meaning behind the literal content of the dream is known as the latent content.
You claim that "positive thoughts always resulting in positive things" is not the basis of the LOA. In part you are correct. The foundational basis in science, as I alluded to in the article was that thought stuff particles travel through ether (not air) and interact with formless stuff to create whatever it is that you are thinking about. This was how "the law" started.
9) Mindless: To invoke a LOA, you need to live continuously in an unreal future as you anticipate that it will be once you’ve achieved your goal and only visualize a successful outcome. This shows faith in the universe. Thinking about plans, actions, and challenges are discordant and negative so skip the process and focus on the result; live without regard to the present. This is the definition of mindlessness. Being fully aware of and attentive to the here and now is mindfulness and has been shown to produce powerful health and wellness benefits such as greater life satisfaction and happiness.

The more you can feel like you are living your dreams today, the faster they will manifest in your life. So find small ways to begin living your dreams today. If you dream of finding love, take yourself on solo dates and find ways to compliment yourself. If you dream of having financial abundance, wear your best clothes and take care of your belongings. If you dream of travelling, explore your own city and try new activities. All of these small actions will begin to create a new feeling and vibration inside of you, which will in turn attract opportunities for the fulfilment of your dreams.
Good feelings lead to a good reality. Put on your favorite song, paint a picture, have fun with your pet, or think of someone or something that you love, something that makes you happy, and just shut your eyes and dwell on this. These can be called Frequency Shifters, so have a few up your sleeve. Different thoughts work for different situations, so think of a few now you can use later.

Acceptance. The next principle of conscious manifestation is acceptance. I don’t mean giving up or attitude saying ‘whatever’. What I’m talking here about is acceptance of your new belief and that it’s true for yourself and you can have it. Just accept that it’s already yours. Don’t focus on reasons why it shouldn’t work out, instead surrender yourself to your desire and fully accept it in your life. Accept that this is what you want and that you want to have it.
Think about the strengths and energies that make you unique. When you were a child you thought to yourself “Wow, I am ME. Nobody else is me or can feel the feelings I feel. They’re mine alone. This energy is uniquely my energy.” Then, of course, the world trained you out of this way of seeing things. You wanted to be the same as everyone else (or at least, they wanted you to be the same). Based on what the mystery man taught me, and my study of numerous other approaches, I believe that three essential elements need to be included for effective manifestation. The reason many “law of attraction” teachings and techniques fall short of changing people’s lives in sustainable and measurable ways is that they fail to embrace all three elements. When you place an intention in your imagination, do not allow a question mark at the end of your pronouncement. See your statement ending in a grammatical exclamation point. “I bring this into my reality!” is easy to say if you’re already living from that declaration in your imagination and have assumed the feeling in your body of that wish being fulfilled.
Receive. Receive what shows up and acknowledge to the universe your overwhelming gratitude for what you have manifested. Do not have expectations on how it shows up, just feel grateful when it does. I recommend practicing manifesting one thing at first and once it materializes, focus on another. Manifestation is a muscle that gets stronger, quicker and more powerful the more it is used.  While you are focused on manifesting try and live a positive life, being kind, and serving others. Living this way helps attract more of what you are giving.

The most important element for creating the life you want is to connect your individual dreams and desires to the greater good of the world in which you live. You are not creating your life in isolation. You are co-creating it with the Universe. Yes, you can have the life you want and fulfill all of your personal longings, but if it’s all about you, ultimately you’ll find that the power to deliver deep fulfillment will be limited.

Here is what we are going to do." I know that may sound silly, but I got more out of this book than any religious type of thing, philosophy etc. (and I'm not religious in the traditional sense). After life's normal trials and tribulations in the past, what I took away from it was like a big clue or door opening into how all of life, both present, future and beyond, works. Gives detailed exercises (& a lot of them) to do/put into practice to get the Law of Attraction (aka LOA) into action working in your life AND how to get rid of the negative things, habits or thinking in your life. So it's not just a "philosophy", but a" how to" book as well. At least it spoke to me in terms that resonated.

So miserable in fact, that I got myself fired twice because I was such a “joy” *sarcasm* to work with! Getting fired was the best thing for me because it was a wake up call. I knew I needed to listen to the voice inside of me and launch my own business. At 24 years old, I was in the midst of a full-blown quarter life crisis. I had just earned my master’s degree not even two months before all of this blowing up in my face, and found myself questioning whether I wanted to stay in the industry.
